2.6 Training Intuition
In the 1st chapter, we discussed the process by which many holy men develop god consciousness, by peering at it through religious practices. In this chapter, we examined the locus of this perspective and the power it radiates through our intuition. What is critical to take away now is that at the center of both sections is a call to action. Whether we come to know it through study of a doctrine or our own intuition, the nucleus of that wisdom is something pervasive that can’t be written down or observed in an isolated event. It exists between the blurred lines of objective facts and the collective human experience.
We can tap into something outside of ourselves, a collective ‘being-ness’ that flows between minds and life-forces of all kinds. When we appreciate the sunset, we feel connection to it not because it is like us, but because it is us.
Reality and consciousness exist symbiotically
Strangely enough, we reach the same conclusions in quantum physics. Through experiments on the most fundamental particles of the universe they have uncovered some uncomfortable truths about the scientific nature of reality and how drastically different our illusion of the physical world is compared to it. To us, physical objects and time cooperate without interruption.
But in the eyes of quantum physics, the room I’m sitting in is not really here. Well, they are here in their ethereal forms, but they can only be experienced through the filter of a 3-dimensional simulation. Quantum physics would describe the true nature of those things more like ‘energy fields’ magnetizing in you ‘the experience of a room’.
In short, people are searching for meaning in the material world, but ‘physical reality’ is just the subjective illusion of the real thing! We perceive reality as hardware, but the truth is it is flexible software.
In this bigger scale of multi-dimensional energy fields, we realize that physical reality is only a sliver of that. Did the scientists just start sounding loopier than the psychics?
Just as reality exists only as a hologram inside our head, there can be no preference between the picture in our heads and the observable, physical reality. Therefore, if these fantasies that some would call delusions make that picture more clear in our heads, and bring us further in our pursuit, who is to say we should bridle our imagination?
Our consciousness is the gateway to unifying our physical existence with this quantum existence. When we take control of it, fashioning our temple after the energies we wish to pursue, we can ascend the ladder of virtue, transmuting our defiled selves into beings of light and even deities of our own.
I think of reincarnation as the metaphor for how our hologram reality merges with this omni reality, in which is contained all possible timelines and holograms. If, like the previous example, our true nature is fragmented across these separate timelines, then it must be that the work we do on ourself in this life ripples across those fragments and counts towards some more cosmic elevation of self. Any ideas of a soul or symbols of our spirituality lift our eyes from this hologram being towards the nature of this cosmic being.
I’ll introduce another belief system to be entertained as a useful metaphor. Think of your astrological birth chart as a genetic manifest. Genetic in the sense of describing this life and its lessons for the larger cosmic self.
The birth supposes that this purpose is manifest at birth, when our cosmic selves ‘choose’ a rebirth and venture again into the hologram in pursuit of karmic lessons (karmic lessons – playing a video game to get to higher and higher levels). And finally, the arrangement of the planets when we decide to rebirth is signatory of the energetic playing field laid out in hologram before us.
Each zodiac pattern is a different lesson to “go to school on”. As we master all these virtues, calling upon the strength of the deities (the Greco-Roman gods represented as planets in astrology) ruling them, we master self and graduate to a higher vibrational existence. Our Intuition, the mouthpiece of our emotions, is the student of applying these subjects to life’s journey.
Our cosmic blueprint represented across our 3-dimensional selves
Intuition helps us recognize these aspects in daily life so that we can keep them in balance, tuning them all into harmony so that our higher self can resonate through our life.
As we see this grand game of life unveil before us, we should become storytellers that others could see their reality with these heavenly eyes. We study this universal source code so that we may see more clearly around bugs and blockages. When we learn its language, we sit like omnipotent gods, bending and commanding reality around us towards the light. Bringing our personal reality out of darkness. All that it requires of you is to let your ego melt into the infinite expanse of the multiverse.
